In Announcements
Just wondering where we stand with these events? Do we have the numbers yet? Sorry if it was already posted and I missed it. You all know I suck with technology.

In Casino Night 2023
If you are dressing in garb for casino night you must wear an arm band. If you are in a ball gown with no hat or belt this is not considered pirate garb and you do not have to wear an arm band.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT When in grab, you will wear an armband either around your arm, your head or on your garb itself. This is NOT negotiable. The reason why we wear an armband is to identify ourselves and the krewe we represent. If there is ever a problem, it is easy to identify the person by their armband. The only exception to the rule is if you are doing professional personal photo shoots, that have nothing to do with the krewe. Thank you for your cooperation in advance. This is the end of the public announcement. Wade. Master at Arms (MaA)

In Governing Documents
Hi Krewe, I hope you all are doing well.  It’s been awhile since I've had to speak up.  However,  I, your Master at Arms, have seen a lack of armbands.  When we are in grab, whether we are in St. Augustine, or in California, our Krewe of the 13 armbands must be visible.   I’ve seen photos of our Krewe in Tybee Island not wearing armbands.  I have also seen youtube videos where only one Krewe member was wearing an armband.  This is against our bylaws, and unacceptable. When we all joined this Krewe, we all signed the bylaws, confirming that we read and understand the rules:  Arm Bands “Arm bands shall be worn by all Officers,Core Members, Benefactors, and Swabbies when in Garb. This is for two purposes 1) when we are seen to be doing charitable work, and also having fun, it is a recruiting tool, 2) more importantly when there are problems with pirates acting inappropriately in public we can set ourselves apart…”   That being said, when you garb up, don’t forget your armband. When you pose for a picture, turn so that your armband is visible in the photo.     I know the armbands suck when wearing it on the arm.  It slides down, and usually does not stay put.  I wear mine on my bultric. I’ve seen ladies wear them on their heads, or around their waists.  You can be creative as to where you wear it, but the key words are, wear it!    Starting immediately, we are implementing an armband contribution.  This means if you are caught without your armband, or not visible in photos, you will be asked for a $5.00 donation to our War Chest.     Let me know if you have any questions,   Wade Zaggy Master at Arms
