Just an FYI. These are people that are business members of their community that have been actively involved in the Tybee Island Pirate Invasion. Many are former Kings and Queens of Tybee and great friends!! I can personally attest for each of these people and suggest that they post a bio on our page so they can. Introduce themselves. I wholeheartedly support them becoming beneficiary and or members!

What an Epic milestone for The Krewe of the 13! 10 years!! from the meager beginings to the formidable group we have become, this truly is a date to be celebrated! When myself and the other founding members formed this krewe, it was with dreams that we could create a positive impact on our community and the pirate world...we have by far surpassed any and all expectations!! A HUGE HUZZAH!!!  As the first full term original founding Captain.... I am excited that the 15 Year Pirate Store and 10 Year Krewe will be celebrated together!! Both Phyllis and I have known Amanda since she started working at Barefoot bills a few years ago. I was completely unaware of her situation as she's always so upbeat and friendly to everyone she meets. She's been a terrific server and a reliable employee at Barefoot Bill's Restaurant. Phyllis told me about her situation and applying for crew help which I believe this is the perfect situation to help somebody that truly is in dire need. Thank you Phyllis for spearheading this effort to help Amanda

I would like to see this put to a vote...

As the krewe evolves and changes..so must our governing documents to clarify what is expected and help our krewe and members realize their full potential within the krewe.. I do understand some of the questions being asked and it is important to ask questions to clarify what is being changed. I think all the questions were addressed and that the changes make good sense for our krewe to move forward in a productive and collective manner. We all need to work together to continue the amazing work and contributions to our community we have accomplished over the past 7 years.

Allen..thank you for your many months of hard work an service to our krewe.

Dawn has been an integral part of our krewe in the past and is a big supporter of our cause.. I have seen the work she has done with her job which truly helps the elderly. It is a small amount to ask.. and will help build relationships with the MBB. I think we should ask them to match our contribution to further make it a bond. I am in agreement to help.

Absolutley... St. Francis was one of our original charities.. great to see us helping them out! WTG!!

@Erin Flannigan the last parade I was in years ago in Palatka with the krewe....was very short....and on a side street.... it was over before it started...lol we went 8 blocks and it was done. I literally thought we were still staging the parade when it was finished. Maybe it has changed... but I don't think so..might want to check it out

@Lisa (aka Tortuga) they want to shoot in january...lol. but it's the st augustine camera club.. they have some amazing photographers that would normally cost a small fortune... and we get to shoot and get copies for free... it's a helluva opportunity!
