I whole heartedly agree with Debbie. We cant base this decisions on whatever is going on with his wife, not our business (in my opinion). $500 is a 1 time donation and it's not that much. I think we should move forward to getting this man some help. I also trust Dawn's discretion in even asking.

Honestly - this post pissed me off at people in general. I am so glad these children have been taken and will have a better life. I have a friend inJacksonville who is a realtor at Keller-Williams — that is a huge organization and I’m shameless when asking for help for this family. I am going to reach out to her and hope that somehow that organization will do something also. My question is this - can they donate dollar for dollar through K13? It’s a not for profit and by law we should be able to accept “designated funds” ... is this an ok thing to do?? I don’t want to cross a boundary
