I agree we need to find out if she is even a resident. Her Instagram page still lists her as a makeup artist in Atlanta. If she is a resident she really could use a more global organization helping her with all her needs. Krewe, there was discussion under a different announcement category about finding a time to listen to the band Chillula. Well as pirate luck would have it…they are playing for free at the Colonial Quarters Oak music park on Aug. 13th from 7:00-10:00 pm. If anyone is interested in sauntering down there after we witness the “marriage proposal” please let everyone know! Thinking maybe 8:00 ish until they stop at 10:00???? Just an FYI it is outside and enclosed by a wall so it can be very hot so you might choose your coolest/lightest garb to wear.

Well it was fun while it lasted! Storm came in after only about 1 1/2 hours. Thanks to everyone that joined! Sarah or Laura can you post pictures of Roger and Kathy’s kites? They were so large and really cool!

Tom and I plan to be at the beach for a couple of hours. So far Tracy, Brian, Terrie, Dan, Lisa C. Lisa/Tortuga, Sarah/ mad magnolia have confirmed. Anyone else? Weather forecast is only about 40% chance of rain so maybe we will have some clouds to lessen the heat. Feel free to bring family!

Per our tradition of meeting at O’Malley’s on the 13th when it falls on a weekend, May 13, 2022 definitely meets that criteria! Non garbed, See a separate post with details.

Update on the Easter parade: Krewe to meet in the lot behind Dunkin Donuts at 171 San Marco Ave. at 7:45 am on Sat. April 16, 2022. We are 17th in the order of the parade. They will have a stake with the number 17 on it to start gathering there. Wear your arm bands, bring your flags and the Krewe Banner so we can proudly announce who we are. Bring your trinkets to pass out to the kids. If you need more treasures to pass out, contact Kelli. Hang out after at O’Malley’s for a cold one and a bite to eat.
