Sounds like a train wreck of a situation that involves individuals that are simply immature with money handling/decision making which would result in our efforts being squandered. I think they need prayer at this point.

Just a reminder this coming Saturday May 27th from 5pm-7pm at Marina Munch K13 has been invited to attend the 3rd anniversary of Marina Munch plus the Grand Opening Marina Cantina. Garb up mates and raise a Pint! A great way to get our Charitable organization some exposure with the local St Augustine Community!

We still can’t believe it. Christine saw Silvia in Publix a few weeks and chatted with her. Silvia and Jason were terrific and will be missed. Loss of her daughter in the car accident too just makes it all the more horrific. Condolences to her family.

I’m sure there are many factors that impacted this fundraising event as far as total money raised however it was far and away a huge success in my opinion. Kudos to all the hard work by everyone in our Krewe! I did notice a lack of support by our fellow Pirate Krewes too. Is it too expensive for some of them? I do know we are trying to raise money outside of the Pirate Community so maybe economics played a factor. I don’t know.

It was very enjoyable! I asked several people who weren’t pirates what they thought and just raved about how great the event was! It just gets better and better!

Rachael Miller update: I followed up today with Rachael to see how her surgery went on Monday and she replied All is good and that she is recovering at home now.
