In 2023-11 Amanda Jacks
Hi Krewe I spoke with Amanda and her partner Dillon yesterday. Apparently Dillon Pitts is the owner of the home and he is also on all utilities. I spoke with the Captain and a background check has been run on Dillon also. We have to include Dillon in this motion as he is the mortgage holder. Their daughter did become ill August 2022, causing her parents to keep her out of daycare, They decided that Dillon would quit his job at Tom Gibbs Chevy making $41,000 plus commission per year. Amanda was working at Sable Palms memory care as sales director making $65,000 per year. On May 8, 2023 Amanda decided to have a hysterectomy (it was not an emergency) and subsequently quitting her job that she had only been at for 7 months. This left them with zero income. Amanda did not go back to work for 12 weeks. Amanda and her 2 children do get assistance from Medicaid and therefore have zero medical bills. Their daughter is doing better with her allergies and returned back to daycare August 2023. Amanda got a new position with Sand Castle Home care as Marketing Director effective August 8,2023 earning $50,000 per year. Dillon got a new position at Flagler Power & Equipment $16.00 per hour full time. The Mortgage is NOT in pre forclosure but is at Risk with Midland Mortgage. Dillon will be taking his entire paycheck Friday the 13th and paying his mortgage plus some back money. He is only 3 monthis behind and Midland Mortgage is working with him. He should be able to catch up with in the next year. The Utilities are past due and are a concern. FPL wants $255.62 by October 13th total amount due is $472.87 City of Palm Coast Utility is $1017.46 Spectrum Cable is a luxury not a necessity. Amanda will be applying through Medicade's program for 30% off each month. Child Daycare at Christ the King Academy Palm Coast has a balance of $1413.50. They only made partial payments in August and September. Two members of our Krewe, being aware of the circumstances, have asked for this matter to be put to the Krewe, therefore the following is a draft motion: MOTION: To provide assistance for Amanda Jacks and Dillon Pitts: FPL - $472.87 Water - $1017.46 Daycare - $1413.50 Total Requested $ 2,903.83 ALL PAYMENTS TO BE MADE DIRECTLY TO THE PROVIDER. This matter is open for discussion and amendment until midnight on Saturday October 14th, at which time the question will be called.

In Casino Night 2023
I will not be able to attend tomorrow's Presentation Ceremony. I'm not feeling well and don't want to get anyone sick. If you intend on bringing any items for the Booze Pull please leave on my front porch. My address is: 6 Laughing Gull Lane, in Beaxh Haven neighborhood. I'm across the street from the pool. Thank you

In Casino Night 2023
Calling All Members!! For Casino Night we are going to have a Booze Pull. It should raise $500 to $1,000 if we can get enough bottles of Liquor or Wine Donated. Here's how it works: 1. Receive as many as we can of Liquor or Wine Bottles. Cost of each bottle should be from $18 to $50 or higher. 2.Each bottle will have a playing card attached around the neck of the bottle. 3.A matching playing card will be put into a hat, bowl or basket. 4.The cost to play is $20. 5.For each play a person draws a card out of the hat, they will receive the bottle that has the matching card attached to that bottle. Everyone who plays will win a bottle with a value of at least $18. For those of you who don't feel comfortable asking for sponsors or an auction item, this is an easy way for you to participate. The goal is to receive 30 to 50 bottles. Check your liquor cabinets for extra bottles that you have on hand for a way to donate yourself. Captain Savage and his lovely wife Sheri have already donated 3 bottles of a very nice Liquor! Captain Proper Roger and CutThroat Kathy have also donated 4 bottles. We are off to a good start. Let's keep it going. When you have bottles to donate please contact Lori Romano at (904) 295-7045, or Cathy Greene at (904) 309-4008 or Sarah Fall at (734) 489-5211 and one of us will meet you to pick up your donation. Thank you, Lori Casino Night, Co-Chair
