I know operating funds are tight but I suggest we get a larger storage unit. A 5x5 unit does not allow us to properly organize everything we have and the Casino items are in my garage now. A thorough inventory needs to be done of all the decorations the 2 charity events have accumulated and everything should labeled and shelved so it came easily be identified for future events. Unfortunately we haven't been able to find one that someone would donate for our use but we can at least use our tax exempt status to our benefit. Thank you for your consideration. As a bribery to get some folks from the Elks Lodge to attend the All Hallows Eve event, Salty Britches (Tracey) and I agreed to participate in their Clam Jam Chowder Challenge on Sunday Oct 29 at 11:00. Well Krewe members we have just about reached the finsh line for our second charity event for the year! If you have not made your donation for you ticket yet, please do so ASAP, only 32 members have done their part so far. UPDATE: credit card sales were $79 bringing our total to $716.00 Thank you everyone who came out to the Social this afternoon at Ann O'Malleys!! I'd like to give a BIG THANK YOU to Laura/Wade, Brian/Tracey. Erin, Phyllis, and Kathy for helping me make Jell-O shots (we had about 500) and to everyone who gave their time to assist in the selling of the shots. Thank you to Kelli and Ann O'Malleys for hosting us and letting us do the the fund raiser. Your efforts accounted for over $9000 of the funds raised at last year’s event. I am attaching some documents to help you in your pursuit of sponsors/silent auction items for the 3rd Annual AHE. Please tweak the letter (email) to suit your particular situation and/or personality. The sponsorship packet includes a memo which defines the levels of sponsors as well as the Sponsorship form for them to return to you. I do ask that you do not change the Sponsorship Info Sheet or Sponsorship form without checking with me first because it has the necessary information, we will need to properly thank our sponsors and provide them with the necessary tax information. Tracey and I will be maintaining a list of business who've been approached so that we do not duplicate our efforts or bombard our community with requests.
